Focus on Recreation and Fitness: Collierville's Parks and Greenbelt System

Looking for a great place to get fit? Currently, the town on Collierville manages over 5 ½ miles of walking trails within its corporate limits.

Designed to promote the town's natural beauty, the trails run along portions of the scenic Wolf River, providing protected areas for wildlife habitat and preserving natural vegetation. The greenbelt trails are within easy access for residents of Collierville and its surrounding area. They are excellent places for biking, walking, running, or strolling with young children.

An especially beautiful portion of the greenbelt system is the Old Wagon Trail section, which runs from Shelton Road north into Johnson Park. This section includes elevated boardwalks over wetlands, and old river runs with a variety of wildlife.

Collierville also maintains twelve wonderful parks in various parts of the town. Two of these parks, Johnson Park and Suggs Park, have unique water spray areas where children will enjoy getting wet!
